Making Manners Work

It all started at the salad bar.

It all started at the salad bar.

People all over the world recognize good manners. Today many people are ill prepared when it comes to etiquette.  Practical experience and proper etiquette techniques give one an inner assurance.  Good skills and manners should be practiced by everyone, from the five year old to the executive director of a major corporation anywhere in the world. We all need good manners.

The idea of teaching good manners and proper business and social etiquette came to me while dining in a restaurant.  I saw a little girl take food off a salad bar with her hands.  The little girl did not know this was wrong!  This bothered me so much because I realized this was a need.

There was a mother and father who had at-least eight children and were somewhat pre-occupied and did not see the little girl run back to the fruit bar to grab a few more grapes with her bare hands.  She did not know to use the utensils provided.  As the oldest child of eight I could really relate to this situation.

I trained and became certified as an Etiquette Consultant to teach proper social  and business skills. Now I help companies develop formal protocol for leadership development, exceptional customer service and powerful public performance.
