The Expert Hands of a Former Student at Work

Many opportunities come and many go. Witnessing the hands of my dentist as he examined my teeth, one of the first set of students to enter and receive their certificate in Etiquette Training with Mr. & Mrs. Manners, was remarkable.

It has been the goal of Mr. and Mrs. Manners to build confidence in our students beginning from ages 8 years old to adults to help them grasp etiquette concepts and use the training they receive to build their future in making decisions, to want more, to apply every skill and strive to succeed, and to finish strong. This is exactly what Dr. Reginald Makerson has done, thanks to his applying our etiquette training concepts.

It left me feeling so inspired to keep teaching because good social skills are never just needed for the parents but for our future, our children. He gave me dental treatment along with the Dental Hygienist. Good Etiquette Training along with effective Customer Service will never go out of style.

Dr. Makerson has always been very studious and I also gave praise to his mother, Dr. Deborah Makerson. It is so inspiring to watch the two of them work together. Plus, his bedside manners were outstanding. Keep up the great job!!

Hello, my name is Herbert L. Robinson, Sr., the Mr. Manners of Mr. and Mrs. Manners LLC. It is a delight to speak with you.

I want to start by giving some background information on myself. I was employed as a school teacher many years ago. I retired from the medical industry after serving for over 40 years. I held positions in quality control, as a plant site buyer, senior corporate buyer, regional purchasing manager, and plant materials manager.

As part of our current company, I am fortunate to be able bring a lot of work experience to Mr. and Mrs. Manners LLC. I have interacted with high level individuals in many settings, meetings, luncheons, dinners, and various businesses and social activities. Etiquette skills were required, but were not taught in my regular educational programs.  People often assume that etiquette is only for the rich. In fact, etiquette is a basic social skill for all people. Many men in particular don’t realize how much they need etiquette; they are taught to frown at etiquette because they are told that it is necessary for girls.  Men need to train for etiquette even more so than women. However, etiquette is often an unspoken requirement and those who demonstrate these skills stand out above those that are lacking in these areas.
